Lemon Cake Recipe
During the holidays, the scent of cinnamon biscuits and citrus and chocolate sweets wafts through the decorated houses. Why not change things up a bit by surprising your guests with a lemon dessert? Here are the ingredients to prepare the most classic of lemon cakes and give a new flavor to Christmas:
- 100 grams of granulated sugar
- 2 whole eggs
- 200 grams of cake flour
- 1 baking powder
- Lemon flavour
- 100 grams of butter
- A whole lemon.
To prepare the lemon cake recipe, work the butter into cubes in a bowl, adding the eggs and sugar. Mix well with a wooden spoon. Then add flour and yeast, continuing to work all the ingredients until they are all well blended together. At this point add the lemon aroma which will give the cake freshness. Now that the dough is soft enough it can be poured into a previously buttered and floured cake tin. At this point, bake the cake thus prepared in the oven (preheated for 40 minutes at 180 degrees) and cook until the stick test passes. Once cooked, let everything cool. As soon as it is ready, you can place the cake on a serving plate and decorate the cake with lemon peel curls and serve. Enjoy your meal!
