How do you make Mug Cake?
Preparing a mug cake is undoubtedly a very easy process, accessible even to those who are not experts in cooking or desserts. All you have to do is follow our instructions.
Take your cup and butter it, then mix the following ingredients inside:
- Six tablespoons of flour
- Three tablespoons of sugar
- Two tablespoons of oil
- A spoonful of gianduia cream
- An egg
- A pinch of baking powder
The recipe requires that first the solid ingredients are mixed separately and then, subsequently, the liquids and creamy ingredients are added. Add a spoonful of gianduia cream to the mixture, to let the tasters taste a creamy, soft and delicious heart. Make sure to eliminate any lumps from the dough and that the mixture does not exceed half a cup, you will understand why shortly. Now you can put the cup in the microwave and cook for two minutes at maximum power, i.e. 750 W. Be careful to put one cup at a time in the microwave, otherwise, you risk that the cooking is not uniform for all the mug cakes you are preparing. Don't worry if the contents of the cup will increase during cooking, you purposely only filled it halfway. Don't be surprised if it comes out slightly above the edges of the cup, however it will shrink once you remove it from the microwave.
Why use gianduia cream?
In addition to the very famous Nutella, there are a series of alternative gianduia creams to the main brand, these creams are of great quality, in fact, they are Italian and produced with raw materials coming from our country. An example is the Caffaril gianduia cream, which is made of 40% “Nocciola del Piemonte I.G.P” and is gluten free, therefore it can also be used by those suffering from celiac disease.
