Gianduia Paste differs in its more accentuated hazelnut flavor compared to cocoa and in its creamier structure with reduced separation of the oily fraction even over time. The creaminess and fluidity of the paste facilitates its use in pastry making: as a filling, to garnish or spread the tops and edges of cakes, to fill intermediate layers, to flavor custard, etc.
Made in Italy product, suitable for domestic and professional use.
Appearance: Brown colored paste, with an intense smell and flavor of hazelnut and cocoa.
Features: Semi-finished paste, ideal for the preparation of Gianduia flavored ice creams, in which the flavor of hazelnuts blends very well with that of chocolate. It has a very creamy structure with reduced separation of the oily fraction even over time. The creaminess and fluidity of the paste facilitates its use in pastry making. It guarantees an intense and pleasant flavor with the right balance between the flavor of hazelnuts and chocolate.
Ingredients: Hazelnuts, sugar, refined vegetable fats (sunflower, cocoa), low-fat cocoa powder, emulsifiers: lecithins (soya, sunflower), E471; skimmed milk powder, flavourings. May contain: gluten, eggs, almonds, walnuts, cashews, pistachios, peanuts, sesame.
How to use: 100-160 g of product per liter of white or yellow base mix, depending on habits.
The ice cream can be customized by adding layers of chopped hazelnuts and/or whole hazelnuts into the tray and possibly sprinkling with Low-Fat Cocoa ("Truffle" type flavour).
In pastry making it is used as a filling, to garnish or spread the tops and edges of cakes, to fill intermediate layers, to flavor custard, Chantilly cream, cream, etc. Also excellent for preparing mousse in trays and semifreddos.
Storage: The product must be stored in the original sealed container and in a cool, dry place.
